GRATIS Foundation made a strong impact at the 2026 AGROTECH Fair, held from March 17 to March 19 at the Independence Square, Accra.
The three-day event, organized by Ghana Export-Import Bank in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade, Agribusiness and Industry, brought together key players in the agribusiness sector under the theme “Transforming Agribusiness Through Local Innovation and Technology.”
As part of its participation, GRATIS Foundation showcased a range of locally manufactured agro-processing equipment, demonstrating its commitment to promoting industrial growth and supporting agribusiness development in Ghana. The exhibition featured machines such as fruit juice extractors, hammer mills, cassava graters, maize threshers and shea nut processing equipment, all produced by various GRATIS Reginal Centres and District Technology Solution Centres across the country.
The Fair was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, who visited the GRATIS stand alongside other dignitaries.
A key highlight was a testimonial from Reggie Fruits Juice, a client of GRATIS, who shared positive feedback on the impact of GRATIS’ fruit juice extractor.
Throughout the exhibition, the GRATIS stand attracted significant visitor interest, with live demonstrations, stakeholder engagements and the distribution of promotional materials. GRATIS also gained wide media coverage across major platforms, further enhancing its visibility and brand presence.
Participation in the Fair resulted in numerous business enquiries, potential partnerships and valuable feedback from the public, particularly regarding product improvements and affordability.
The overall outcome was highly successful.
GRATIS Foundation remains committed to advancing local innovation and will continue to leverage such platforms to promote its technologies, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to Ghana’s industrial transformation.
